Interscope Records Partners With Kappa For 30th Anniversary Capsule Collection

Plus, a campaign featuring some of Interscope’s rising stars.

Italian sportswear brand Kappa has partnered with music industry mammoth Interscope Records. For the label’s 30-year anniversary, they released a joint six-piece capsule collection with some classic Kappa finishings. Celebrating the label’s growth from rebellious industry-shaker to star magnate, the capsule collection reflects the suave allure that is constant within the Interscope name.

Featured in the capsule collection are two tracksuits, found in shades of green and black. Along the sleeves and legs of the tracksuit is a stitched alternating pattern of Kappa and Interscope logos, built in red and white to call back some classic NASCAR styles. With the joint Kappa/Interscope label emblazoned upon the chest of the tracksuit, the look is a perfect commemoration of the brands’ collaboration.

Also sold in the capsule collection are two bucket hats, in green and black to match the tracksuits. The bucket hats feature an oversized Kappa x Interscope logo, drawing immediate attention to the brand collaboration and high-end status. After launching just four days ago, the black bucket hat has already sold out. The green bucket hat, as well as both tracksuits, may be found on the Interscope website at www.interscope.com

Along with the collection for sale, the collaboration also brings a photo and video campaign in tow. Featuring some up-and-coming Interscope talent dressed head-to-toe in Interscope x Kappa, the campaign demonstrates that immeasurable pull of the label. Seeing Jae Lynx seated in the booth with their full green tracksuit, it’s easy to understand the weight of this anniversary. Interscope used to be the rebellious little guy, kicking and screaming from the bottom. Thirty years later, look how far they’ve come.
