Phoenix Suns SG Devin Booker has quite the resume. During last Sunday’s Phoenix Suns vs. L.A. Clippers game, Booker was spotted strutting through the tunnel, AKA the NBA Runway, in a fit as laid back as the Michigan-native. Decked out in a white T-shirt, khaki-colored pants, and a neutral flannel, Booker was the picture of cool, calm, and collected. To accessories, the Suns player opted for a white and black snap-back and none other than the Converse x Devin Booker Chuck 70 collab sneaker.

Naming the Chuck 70 his favorite shoe of all time last year, this Converse-Booker partnership is a match made in heaven. Fitting right in with Booker’s minimalist style, this Chuck 70 acts as a blank canvas to enhance any outfit. The shoe’s upper is composed of cream canvas. An invisible Chuck patch blends seamlessly with the canvas silhouette. The midsole is clean as can be without the brand’s classic pinstripe or toe bumper. In stripping the shoe down to its most minimal state, Converse and Booker celebrate the brand’s beloved configuration. 

Accompanying the launch is a co-created short film that delineates Booker’s journey off the beaten path, all while sporting his Chuck 70s.
