Jack Harlow Is Ready For His Acting Debut in Trailer for “White Men Can’t Jump”

Fans are being given a first look at the rappers acting chops in the first trailer of the highly anticipated remake

Jack Harlow has many titles, including – but not limited to – rapper and internet heartthrob. And with the recently dropped trailer of White Men Can’t Jump, he is now adding another title to his repertoire: movie star.

The 24-year-old musician is making his acting debut in the film – a remake of the 1992 film of the same name – starring alongside actor Sinqua Walls. The upcoming sports comedy is directed by Charled Kidd II and written by Kenya Barris, best known as the creator of the ABC sitcom black-ish. The film is scheduled to be released by 20th Century Studios as a Hulu original on May 19th.

In the past few years, Harlow has grown to superstardom with the help of supporters on social media. VMan previously spoke with him about his EP Sweet Action in 2020, just as the covid-19 pandemic began pushing back tour dates. In the interview, the artist even told V that he “likes movies more than music. Movies are like my passion.” Perhaps Harlow even had an influence on his character in the film, as he says in the trailer while talking to Walls, “I’m the P.T. Anderson of basketball psychological warfare.”  V also caught up with the star in 2022 following the release of his sophomore album Come Home The Kids Miss You and his then-newly released viral single “First Class”.
