As part of an ongoing series, Photographer and  Celine Creative Director, Hedi Slimane captures photographs of musicians for “Portrait of a Musician.” Having previously collaborated with Hennessy, Leikeli47, and Gus Dapperton, the series aims to highlight musicians while also showcasing Celine Homme garments. Jack White joins the series for a new set of portraits.

For his photographs, White includes custom blue sparkle Telecaster. Receiving a portrait of its own, the Telecaster adds White’s own touch to Slimane’s vision.

Throughout the series, White sports monochromatic outfits. From a perfectly tailored black suit with a white skirt to a black leather jacket with matching black shirt and trousers, Slimane recreates White’s cool guy look.

Slimane has photographed White since his days in the White Stripes. He followed White from the White Stripes to the The Raconteurs, to The Dead Weather, and now to his journey as a solo artist. The new portraits show not only how far the musician has come, but give people a look into the things that make him who he is.

Whether rocking out in a garden or jamming on a golden throne, Slimane captures White in his element. His cool guy persona follows him throughout each shot, making his addition to the series truly iconic.
