Jacob Elordi Is the New Bleu de Chanel Boy

Who is Bleu?—Following Timothée Chalamet, the ‘Euphoria’ star is unveiled as Chanel’s newest fragrance ambassador
Chanel just got a whole lot sexier. After a few mysterious posts on Chanel’s social media accounts asking “Who is Bleu?”, the maison announced the appointment of actor Jacob Elordi as the new ambassador for Bleu de Chanel fragrance.
Elordi is no stranger to new roles. Having first earned his breakout fame from HBO’s Euphoria and soon after becoming a fixture of the silver screen—starring in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla, and most recently, Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights—he now serves as an ambassador in one of fashion’s most sought-after roles, as a Chanel boy.
Stepping in the footsteps of many acclaimed actors before him, Elordi joins previous ambassador Timothée Chalamet in the Chanel fragrance heap. “The filmmakers and actors who have collaborated with the House before me are people I deeply respect and admire,” says Elordi. “Being able to become part of this story is an honor.”
However, this isn’t Elordi’s first time working with Chanel. The actor first linked with the maison in 2024, starring in the N°5 film See You at 5 alongside Wuthering Heights co-star Margot Robbie, under Luca Guadagnino’s direction.
“I had been following Jacob Elordi’s career for several years, since Euphoria,” recounts Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Head of Global Creative Resources, Fragrance & Beauty, Chanel. “I first met him on the set of the See You at 5 film for N°5, in which he stars alongside Margot Robbie, and it was a revelation. He perfectly embodies Bleu de Chanel: expressing freedom, mystery, magnetism, and a masculinity that blends modernity with a certain classic elegance.”
What’s to come for the new ambassador? In May, Jacob Elordi will star in the new Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif campaign, officially cementing his status as Chanel’s new muse and adding to his all-too-impressive résumé.
