Jaden’s latest release softens the lines between sound, style, and surrealism. The single signals a new chapter where his dual identities as designer and musician feed each other.
Subsequent to his appointment as Christian Louboutin Men’s Creative Director, Jaden is jumping back into the limelight with a new single, “RED CLOAKS,” featuring Rich The Kid. The track, released today, doubles as both a swagger-filled return to rap and an intangible element marking his expansion of the creative universe he is submerging himself into.
“RED CLOACKS” isn’t just a song; rather, it feels like a deliberate bridge between two worlds Jaden has spent years cultivating. The pounding production and sharp verses echo his hip-hop beginnings, while its forward imagery mirrors the theatricality of luxury fashion. It’s the first glimpse into his upcoming three-track project, 2025: A Surrealist Ball or Elephants Reflecting Swans, set to drop September 26.
The project follows last year’s 2024: A Case Study of the Long Term Effects of Young Love, which leaned introspective and poetic. This time, Jaden looks outward, tapping into surrealist motifs and art history to build something more cinematic. With track titles like “Nocturne Ferrières” and “Mask Never Slips,” the work suggests a dreamlike exploration of identity and performance.
