Jake Gyllenhaal is in talks to star in the upcoming Michael Bay thriller Ambulance.

Of the few known details, Dylan O’Brien is said to be considering the part of the younger brother and that Eiza González is considering the role of the paramedic. However, no official deals have been made as of yet.

The script was written by Chris Fedak, who based it on the original Danish Film Ambulance produced by Nordisk Film Productions. The Michael Bay film will be produced by James Vanderbilt, Bradley Fischer, and Will Sherak. Deadline also claims that the script for the thriller has been desired for years but was never picked up by a director until Bay.

Bay recently directed 6 Underground, which was released by Netflix in 2019. It was one of Netflix’s most-streamed films this year. For this reason, it comes to no surprise that Universal Pictures is reportedly looking to finalize a deal for the film’s distribution rights.

Gyllenhaal is also starring in a movie about the creation of The Godfather which features Oscar Isaac (X Men: Apocalypse) as director Francis Ford Coppola. He is also currently working with director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) on thriller film The Guilty.
