Since making his debut, LA-based artist Jean Dawson has been on quite the sonic trajectory. Having grown up between Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego, the artist fell in love with music at an early age as he made a daily five hour trek across the border to attend school. Out of that young passion blossomed Dawson’s burgeoning sound, which has captured the attention of millions of listeners and industry big-shots like SZA and A$AP Rocky. Now, Dawson is once again making head-waves, announcing his first-ever US headline tour, new single “THREE HEADS*,” and forthcoming album CHAOS NOW* due in October.

The bold video rings in a new era for Dawson, with in-your-face vocals and thumping production taking the reins throughout. Blending virtually every genre, the video—directed by Bradley J. Calder—sees Dawson race in a color-blocked speedster, strum a deep red guitar, and dance between flames.

Dawson’s upcoming, highly anticipated sophomore album, CHAOS NEW*, is set for release on October 7 and is sure to be a must-listen. Too, the artist is set to embark on his first headline US tour, playing in cities like San Diego, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Chicago, and more with support from LA-based duo Junior Varsity.
