The Primetime Emmys are just around the corner, and hosted by none other than award-show regular Jimmy Kimmel. The late night comedian previously hosted the 64th and 68th Emmys, but this will be his first swing at doing it entirely virtually. Kimmel is also serving as an executive producer of the project, so he has a significant role in organizing how the night will function.

The current plan includes stationing cameras at the location of each nominee, which could total around 140 live feeds coming in from homes, hotels, and various other whereabouts. The Staples Center will serve as the venue and command tower, with a crew small enough to limit health concerns. How stars will show off their glamorous attire, or if they will choose to at all, remains to be seen.

Speaking to Deadline reporter Pete Hammond, Kimmel said, “I can imagine we’re going to have even more nominees watching this thing fully baked on marijuana edibles. … Since I don’t need them to laugh, it’s fine. I guess it’s going to be some combination of the Emmys and Big Brother because we don’t know for sure how it’s going to work…”

This year, the show dominating nominations is HBO’s Watchmen, a series based on a comic book of the same name. The show managed to snag 26 nominations, and helped lead HBO to the forefront of the awards ceremony.

The Emmys will air Sep. 20 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET. Viewers can watch through ABC, Hulu + Live TV, or Youtube TV.
