In an exciting announcement, Chopard has selected Joe Alwyn as a recipient of its annual Chopard Trophy Award, given to promising up-and-coming talent at the Cannes Film Festival. The British actor rose to fame after starring in Ang Lee's Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk with co-star Kristen Stewart, and now plays love interest to Emma Stone in Yorgos Lanthimos' The Favourite. This year, Alwyn will also appear in Joel Edgerton's highly anticipated Boy Erased with Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe, Xavier Dolan, Lucas Hedges, and Troye Sivan. Himself and fellow honoree Elizabeth Debicki will be presented the Chopard Trophy Award this evening by Diane Kruger.
