Jonah Hill Launched an Adidas Collection, In Time for a Comfy Covid Christmas

Basketball shorts, chino pants, the whole loungewear shebang.

Jonah Hill is not just a comedic actor, he’s a dramatic one too. In fact, he’s also a director. Now, he’s all of that, plus a fiend for fashion, with the release of his collection with Adidas this past weekend.

In an interview with GQ, Hill explained the rationale behind his collection, saying, “The Samba’s my favorite silhouette; I want to make a Samba. And then, what I would wear all the time in New York at that time was basketball shorts, Dickies, and puffer jackets.” The Samba shoe silhouette is one of the collection’s marquee items, inspired by Hill’s childhood.

The collection mainly features four items: the Samba shoes, puffer jackets, basketball shorts, and chino pants. All the items come in three colors, which are, in Hill’s words, “British racing green,” “deep merlot,” and “deep gold.”

The collection derives inspiration from Hill’s street style attire that became popular in 2018 when he was promoting his directorial debut, Mid90s. Hill’s often sleek-comfy and monochromatic looks got his style some recognition, which took the form of the Adidas collaboration.

The Jonah Hill x Adidas Collaboration is available for purchase on their website.
