I think everything should start in your mind. That’s why I think setting your head in the right position, and thinking about what you want to achieve and committing to it, is the first step to improved fitness and a better life. One of the most important things I always try to put in work toward is to be happy and enjoy life. Of course, there are always downsides, but you just have to go through that and keep going — “You can’t see a rainbow without rain."

Another things I’ve learned is that it’s very important to take creative downtime and just relax and shut down all electronics for half an hour to an hour a day, when it's possible to clear your mind and fully relax.

Something that has helped me a lot with all sorts of mind bugs is writing a journal and meditating in the morning before you start your day. It’s the perfect to get your head free — if you win the morning, you win the day. Another tool I suggest is to try intermittent fasting; it has so many benefits, one of them is to help regenerate new cells faster, and you just feel better overall.

There is a Danish brand I love to wear called HALO. They have amazing quality and their design is great! It's super comfortable and totally worth every penny. I’ve been practicing a ketogenic diet for about four weeks and I never felt better in my life. It’s a high fat-moderate protein-low carb diet.

There are a few people out there I follow, which I think everyone should check out, like Mark Sisson (author of Primal Blueprint). Hw also found the Primal Kitchen, which is a website where he sells amazing very clean products for your daily use, like mayonnaise. Ryan Munsey, former host of the OPP (optimal performance podcast) is the author of F*ck Your Feelings, available on Amazon in February and host of the Better Human Project—launching on iTunes and Patreon on January 15, 2018.  I've gotten so much knowledge from Dr. Anthony Gustin. He is the founder of Perfect Ketones, which produces amazing supplements to get into Ketosis quicker and stay there. And there is David Asprey, founder of the Bulletproof Diet and Bulletproof Coffee. His work and philosophy is just great.

A go-to place and an all-time favorite for me after working out for amazing healthy and clean food is Hu Kitchen in NYC. The guys there are doing a wonderful job and only using the best ingredients, and they also produce their own ridiculously tasty chocolate bars (a treat once in a while never hurts).

At the end of the day, I think the most important thing in life, especially when it comes to wellness or fitness, is that you are happy with what you're doing and that you enjoy every second of it. Keep it as simple as possible when it comes to your diet. Our peeps in the prime time didn’t make the craziest dishes or eat the most complex food (and most importantly, zero processing), but it's been proven that they actually were super healthy (besides they didn’t live as long, because they had tons of predators which they didn’t get away from!)

“Work like you don't need the money. Love like you've never been hurt. Dance like nobody's watching.” I’ve been trying to live my life like that. The less you care, the more you get.
