Julia Fox was Harmony Korine’s Muse in Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2022 Ad Campaign
Julia Fox’s latest role: flight attendant for Air Supreme.
Streetwear brand Supreme tapped it-girl of the moment Julia Fox to star in their new ad campaign. The Spring/Summer 2022 campaign also stars pro-skateboarder and Supreme alum Tyshawn Jones.
The campaign, shot by Harmony Korine (who directed “Gummo” and “Spring Breakers”), sees Fox as a flight attendant on the world’s craziest flight, clutching a bottle of Hennessy while sitting on Jones’ lap. It perfectly highlights Supreme’s classic underground streetwear-focused attitude, while still infusing the brand with contemporary pop culture relevance.
In a behind the scenes video posted to Instagram, Fox fully plays the role of a doting flight attendant, refilling the cups of other pro-skateboarders Sean Pablo and Mathias Sauvageon, while strutting up and down the aisle in an unbuttoned button-up, lace stockings, and classic black Louboutins styled by Zara Mirkin.
Fox has been dominating the news cycle as of late, due to her short lived relationship with Kanye “Ye” West and her…unusual eye makeup and red carpet looks. She’s also been dominating the fashion world, walking in the Laquan Smith show at NYFW and starring starring in a Diesel campaign. It makes sense that Supreme, a brand known for having a pulse on the cultural zeitgeist, would call up Fox (the collab also just makes sense).
Supreme’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection is their first full collection since February’s announcement that Denim Tears founder Tremaine Emory would be taking over as creative director. The brand noted that Emory will work directly with the Supreme’s founder, James Jebbia.
Take a look at some items in the collection below.
