K-Way Made a High-Fashion Debut on Pitti Uomo’s Runway

Each exquisite design boasts a new era for the legendary Parisian design house.

On January 8 at Florence’s Palazzo Della Camera di Commercio, Parisian fashion house K-Way staged a runway show for the first time during Pitti Immagine Uomo 97 to celebrate its consolidated re-launch. After 15 years of diligent design development and strategic brand growth under the Turin-based BasicNet Group, K-Way put its contemporary evolution on display with a collection of colorful classics.

Among the multitude of runway silhouettes, the legendary waterproof and wind-resistant jackets found prominence and statement double-faced iterations introduced a new era of elevated, high-fashion designs for the maison. As each model made their way down the catwalk, it became evident that one subtle detail tied the entire range together: K-Way’s signature yellow-orange-blue tape. Originally appearing on the zipper, the label’s timeless color combination was reinterpreted in a plethora of styles for the latest collection, appearing in stripes across knitted sweaters and tastefully incorporated into puffer jackets.

K-Way’s Pitti Uomo runway reinvention welcomed a completely new level of artistry and expertise for the brand. Below, explore each vivid silhouette from K-Way’s come-back presentation.
