K-Way Makes Their Debut at Milan Fashion Week

It’s a K-Way kind of day.

Ground control, K-Way has lift off for Fall/Winter 2021, making its debut appearance at Milan Fashion week in a digital display. In an industrial warehouse setting, models zig-zagged a lacquered white runway sporting both men’s and women’s collections.

Fittingly, the range of pieces was heavily focused on the quintessential K-Way outerwear, but overall casual and contemporary with utilitarian motifs and pops of the French brand’s colors.

The more iconic styles bear their orange, blue and yellow tape and are now accompanied by a new subset, the Autumn-Winter 2021 R&D label, which is a separate entity spearheaded by K-Way’s Research and Development team. This collection was built for movement and climatic adaptation, with key features like reversibility and water repellency. While unconventional material pairings such as velvet and leather make for a surprisingly blissful result.

Styled by Virginie Benarroch, the assemblage consisted of unisex flight suits that can be found in the earthy tones of olive and ivory, meanwhile, a cobalt mid-length coat,  plaid, and icy-colored parkas, and down jackets also glided along the runway. Key pieces for the menswear included layered polos, bright chunky knits, tracksuits, and Japanese denim. As for the women, a high-sheen pleated miniskirt was one of the standout pieces, paired with classic K-Way windbreakers with matching bags and hats.
