KANYE WEST ANNOUNCES ‘DONDA’ LISTENING EVENT IN ATLANTA

A highly anticipated listening party will arrive in Atlanta on Thursday, July 22.

Kanye West announced that it will be a listening event for his new album Donda this Thursday, July 22, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Live Nation revealed it publicly on social media.

Well, it’s true that Kanye held an invite-only private listening party last weekend in Las Vegas to tease the new music. Clips of the party circulated online and registration posted on Twitter said no cell phones allowed, as well as Kanye in ski mask and gloves. According to those who left the Vegas listening party, the album will include verses from Lil Baby, Pusha T, Travis Scott, Baby Keem and Post Malone while having religious themes, like those in the previous release Jesus Is King.

In June 2020, Kanye said his follow-up to Jesus Is King would be titled God’s Country, but later claimed that the album Donda would release in late July. Following his last album Jesus Is King and named after his mother, who died in 2007, Donda will be the rapper’s tenth studio album.

Though Donda still doesn’t have an official release date yet, Justin Leboy, RevoltTV personality, tweeted, “Kanye West album is really done. When it drops this week, we probably not going to listen to anything else for a while.. Let me go enjoy all the current artist I’m listening to until then. God bless#Respectfully.”

If you missed the listening party last weekend in Las Vegas, you still have a chance to catch up on July 22. Price ranging from $50.00 and $20.00, tickets go on sale on Monday, July 19, at 5 PM EST at Ticketmaster.com
