Kanye is coming back, but in a somewhat unexpected way. The rapper-mogul recently told his interior designer Azel Vervoordt in an interview with Pret-a-Reporter that he's been working on a philosophy book called Break the Simulation, which will focus on art, spirituality, and humanity's obsession with photographs.

"I've got a concept about photographs ... about human beings being obsessed with photographs – because it takes you out of the now and transports you into the past or transports you into the future," he explained about the book. We're certainly not philosophers, but considering that his wife, Kim Kardashian, made millions by selling a book of selfies, he might be onto something. "It can be used to document, but a lot of times it overtakes [people]," he continued. "People dwell too much in the memories. People always wanna hear the history of something, which is important, but I think it there's too much of an importance put on history." From the sounds of it, he intends to combine the art of photography with philosophy about living in the present, a very Kanye thing to do.

After nearly losing Kim in a burglary, releasing an album, and announcing a potential run for president in 2020,  it's understandable why the star took an extended vacation from the spotlight. But if the rumors are true, Break the Simulation isn't the only creative endeavor in the works right now for the rapper. It's been speculated that West continues to take trips to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in order to finish an upcoming album. If his latest life mottos are anything to go off, expect an album that's about the times we live in now.
