After announcing that his comeback would include a philosophy book entitled Break the Simulation, the rapper-designer-mogul threw us for a loop again by making a grand return to Twitter and announcing that he is currently live-tweeting the aforementioned ‘book’. His jump back into the Twittersphere and overactive Twitter fingers had fans guessing if an album was on the horizon, and they were right. Not only do we have a date—June 1st—but we have a number of tracks—seven. Oh, and we get another album from Kanye and Kid Cudi, set to release just a week later, titled "Kids See Ghost", which according to one of his latest tweets, is the name of the group. This is a lot to take in given he only returned to Twitter a week ago.

Kanye deleted Twitter and Instagram less than a year ago and. to the joy of millions, (literally) rejoined Twitter seven days ago. His account is at 9.6 million followers already. In 2016, he referred to his own Twitter as ‘contemporary art’, so it’s very on brand for him to use his own platform to write his philosphy ‘book’, which he has now turned from philosophy to ‘concept’, as discussed in his conversation with his interior designer, Axel Vervoordt. It's unknown whether the 'book' will come before the album, or if it will all be live tweeted. But if there is anything we can expect from a true artist, with a Ph.D. from the Art Institute of Chicago, we can always expect to be surprised in the form his artistry takes.
