In a new music video for Kanye's The Life of Pablo track, "Wolves," the rapper breaks down all walls and shows his emotional side (complete with many tearful moments). The rapper collaborated on this video with Balmain's creative director Olivier Rousteing, because obviously none of this would be complete without some opulent attire in the mix.

According to Rousteing, "This is definitely one of the most incredible campaigns I’ve ever done. When I saw Kanye singing, Kim moving, the models walking and crying, the tears on Kanye, the tears on Kim. I was just like, ‘Wow.’” The creative director has upped the ante for campaigns over the past few years, having Balmain ads feature big names like the Hadid sisters, Naomi Campbell, and Rihanna, to name a few. The "Wolves" video serves as not only a music video for the rapper, but also as a Fall 2016 ad campaign for the luxury fashion house. One could assume as much simply from watching the clip, considering everyone is adorned in dazzling Balmain attire.

The video was shot in New York City and was directed by Steven Klein and art directed by Pascal Dangin. Kim Kardashian West makes an appearance in addition to a few familiar models like Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, Jordan Barrett, Ronald Epps, and Alessandra Ambrosio. On the music side, it also features Sia and Vic Mensa.

This isn't the first time West and Rousteing have worked together on a project. The rapper and the designer developed Balmain x Yeezy clothes worn by the Kardashian and Jenner family during the Season 3 Yeezy show that took place last February. Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian West also starred in the Spring 2015 menswear advertisements for Balmain.

Rousteing explains, “I called Kanye and I said I would love to create a campaign around your music, your lyrics, and your aesthetic. I think that’s what is interesting: It is a campaign based on music. That was really important for me.”

In the music video, a moody and raw theme permeates with every shot. As Kanye West wears his outfit from the Met Gala- a beaded jacket, Fear of God jeans, and a plain white tee- he continues to embrace an aesthetic that balances extravagance and modesty all at once.
