Although cities have gradually reopened (some backtracking and closing again), live music events in most cities are still a no-go. But never underestimate the power of digital platforms. This weekend, Tomorrowland Around the World, the digital festival, brings together more than 60 of the planet’s most prominent artists in electronic dance music on 8 different stages, and as Tomorrowland now teams up with the global chart-dominating American singer, Katy Perry, the worlds of electronic dance music and pop will collide in one of the most spectacular ways possible—and we can all watch, dance, and party from the comfort (and safety) of our homes.

Katy Perry has previously worked together on songs with Zedd and Calvin Harris, while her iconic tracks (“I Kissed A Girl,” “Teenage Dream,” “Firework,” “Roar,” “Dark Horse”, and more) have been remixed by some of dance music’s top producers, including Tiësto, Oliver Heldens, R3HAB, Kaskade, Tommie Sunshine, Benny Bennassi, and many more.

On Saturday, July 25 the pop singer (and her baby bump) will perform on the Mainstage of the digital festival for the world to see. "I’ve always wanted to be a part of the fun of Tomorrowland, and have been following the amazing innovation, technology, and invention that this festival has always been about for a long time. I’m so glad to be a part of this version, and I hope my set makes you smile," stated Katy Perry.

Tomorrowland Around the World will be a two-day event going on from Saturday through Sunday between the hours of 16h00–01h00 CEST. Open to all ages and places, festival visitors will be able to navigate easily through Pāpiliōnem with a PC, laptop, smartphone or tablet – you don’t need special VR goggles – and explore the entire festival site with all the different stages and points of interest in an interactive way together with friends.

Day ticket costs €12.50 and weekend ticket costs €20.00 which includes a week of video-on-demand content to relive the entire experience. Special People of Tomorrow packages and Home Party packages are available. For more info and updates visit the Tomorrowland Festival website here.
