Kenneth Ning has chosen to forgo runway presentations this year, deciding instead to release his collection via a lookbook. In every way possible, this latest collection goes against the status quo of Fashion Week, from its conception to the final product. When Ning set about designing his next collection, he decided to hand over the reigns to Parisian multimedia artist Patrick Welde, who had roots in the growing avant-garde scene of Paris. Welde has also worked with Balenciaga and Antidote Magazine, so it was no surprise when the newcomer's collaboration with Ning lived up to all the expectations.

The collection features Ning's street style aesthetic and classic tailoring in its flannel garments and menswear designs. Kenneth Ning describes the collection as a "twisted dream state".

"It was time for me to take a new presentation direction with my collection," Ning said in a statement. "Patrick has a great eye and the past client experience I am looking for in shaping my brand to a more international retailer and consumer."
