KENZO Unveils Fourth Limited SS22 Final Capsule by Nigo

The creative director drops an ode to the poppy.

On Friday, April 29, Kenzo announced the final collection from the label’s series of drops from Spring/Summer 22. The fourth limited-edition capsule collection is the finale for Creative Director Nigo’s second runway collection with the house, this time revisiting the archives of founder Kenzo Takada. Featuring a poppy flower print, the insignia of Takada, the emblem is reimagined by Nigo across essential garments in menswear and womenswear.

The collection culminates the poppy emblem in a relaxed silhouette, featuring it on a matching set that includes a Hawaiian shirt and an option between shorts or a skirt. T-shirts include the poppy as a stand-alone adornment, where the floral motif is printed on the back of a soft-jersey tee.

The capsule brings an end to Spring/Summer22 for Kenzo as Nigo continues to traverse the house’s history through the poppy and the application of his vision. The collection will be available to purchase on May 6th  at Kenzo SoHo NYC and online; DSM Los Angeles, New York, and online; and Saks Fifth Avenue locations in New York and Chicago, and the Saks Fifth Avenue website.
