Kerwin Frost Launches His Own Telethon Show

The charitable project will benefit Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp.

As if he didn’t have enough on his plate already, the Harlem-born entertainer, DJ, talk show host and comedian Kerwin Frost has announced today that before long, we will have the first-ever annual Kerwin Frost Telethon Supershow coming our way. Described as “an epic 12-hour, fully-produced variety show”, the project will benefit Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp — an organization founded by the quarterback and civil rights activist that spreads awareness of racial injustice.

The telethon is to be streamed live from Downtown LA’s Berrics skatepark on August 16, with performances from and interviews with some of Kerwin’s musical friends including Lil Nas X, Kehlani, JPEGMAFIA, Mac DeMarco, Sheck Wes, Jaden Smith, A$AP Ferg, Ian Isiah and more. The audience can tune in live on the day to donate, as well as help out by purchasing the project’s very own merch. Especially for the show, Kerwin has designed a series of sweatshirts and tees with his face on them, all made in collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market and available for purchase starting today.

For the biggest and most dedicated collectors, the multi-hyphenate has also organized an auction of items such as Post Malone’s dress from his Nirvana tribute concert and Adam Sandler’s Star of David ring that he wore throughout Uncut Gems, along with many more priceless prizes. Tune in to help the creative reach his $5M target, with all proceeds going directly to the Know Your Rights Camp.
