KYLE Kicks Off Birthday Celebration With His New Song “What It Is”

Produced by Mick Shultz.

In celebration of his 27th birthday, KYLE is hoping to spread some sunshine amid the coronavirus pandemic with his latest single, “What It Is.” The born-and-bred Ventura rapper/actor was initially intent on postponing the release of his new song until next year, but his devotion towards bringing joy to his fans led him to a change of heart.

“I made this album to be enjoyed outside in the sun in the company of friends, but it seems we may not be outside for some time, and you (my fans) need this music now more than ever,” KYLE said.  “I’m putting the cape back on. I’ve shed the fear of not having commercial success and replaced it with the mission of not leaving my fans high and dry in their time of need.”

The latest song from KYLE features an upbeat tempo, along with lyrics like, “Now and then you know I make mistakes / Look, you know everybody make mistakes.” Produced by Mick Shultz, the debut of “What It Is” is also accompanied by a visually-enticing music video directed by Jakob Owens.

“Hopefully it can help you build an endless world as big as the great outdoors in your mind. You’re not alone. I’m with you,” KYLE continued.
