Lenny Kravitz is the Star of Saint Laurent’s Latest Menswear Campaign

The musician channels the French luxury brand’s iconic rock n’ roll style.

Saint Laurent has officially enlisted legendary musician Lenny Kravitz as the new face of its men’s Fall Winter 2020 campaign. Under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello and photographed by David Sims, the campaign features brooding shots of Kravitz in black-and-white, wearing rock-inspired looks that go hand-in-hand with his own personal aesthetic.

Saint Laurent’s connection to the music industry has been strong for decades, especially in the realm of rock n’ roll. There’s no doubt that the luxury fashion house’s looks tend to perfectly fit the genre, working with the likes of Mick and Bianca Jagger, Grace Jones, Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love, and Sky Ferreira. Now, Kravitz is a seamless addition to the iconic style.

In the campaign images, Kravitz sports two distinct looks: the first, a leopard print long-sleeved shirt with classic black trousers and black leather boots, while the next look showcases a tailored blazer with a simple patterned button-down and matching necktie paired with smart black trousers.

The moody-sexy flair radiating from the campaign manages to perfectly encompass what Vaccarello’s designs are all about. The designer has previously worked with Kravitz’s daughter, Zoë, and the father-daughter duo was spotted at Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter 2020 show during Paris Fashion Week.
