Just when we thought “Old Town Road” had passed its peak, Lil Nas X sent the internet into a supernatural hysteria. The rapper dropped an Area 51-themed music video for the song’s remix with country music daddy Billy Ray Cyrus, hip-hop artist Young Thug and yodeling YouTube star Mason Ramsey. The animated video sees the squad storming the top-secret United States Air Force property, an obvious reference to the viral Facebook event calling for such a raid.

The event page quickly went viral, producing a heap of Area 51 memes. The event has also added new energy to the long-held conversation about the facility among the internet’s most devoted conspiracy theorists.

As a reference to the plans in the original Facebook event, an animated Keanu Reeves “Naruto runs” into Area 51, moving “faster than their bullets.” Soldiers guard the facility but wind up losing their cool, wetting their pants in the process, when they see the foursome storming toward them on horses, in true John Wayne form.

The superhero singers have extra-terrestrial sidekicks to help them accomplish the risky raid, too. UFOs swarm the building and neon green aliens provide tricked-out rides and bling. Overall, the soldiers were no match against the group of musicians and their cosmic accomplices.

The Facebook event’s creators have since stated that there are no intentions to go through with the plan, but the event—scheduled for September—may not be so tongue-in-cheek for some government skeptics. Only time will tell.
