Listen to Paul McCartney’s Nostalgic New Tracks

Recorded with Egypt Station, “In A Hurry” and “Home Tonight” showcase the rock star’s vocal mastery.

Rock legend Paul McCartney never ceases to impress, and his latest two releases remind us of what made him an icon. As the 77-year-old’s star still blazes at full force, “In A Hurry” and “Home Tonight” showcase his timeless and unmatched musical prowess. Recorded during sessions for McCartney’s Egypt Station and produced with Greg Kurstin, each melody reminisces on Beatle-esque beats with contemporary recording renditions.

Although stamped out of McCartney’s Egypt Station track list, these latest iterations are receiving a special release of their own. After their digital debut on Friday, “In A Hurry” and “Home Tonight” will be available on an exclusive double A-side 7-inch picture disc single for Record Store Day’s Black Friday event.

“The limited-edition vinyl picture disc will feature new and exclusively created artwork based upon the parlour game exquisite corpse along with a lyric insert,” McCartney’s website describes. A limited-edition Paul McCartney record, this discography deserves a prime spot on your Black Friday wish list.

A week full of releases, McCartney also announced he will be headlining the 2020 Glastonbury as the festival’s oldest performer in history. Until then, listen to the melodic mastermind’s latest tracks below.
