Last week, it was broadcasted across the fashion world that Kim Jones was leaving his post at Louis Vuitton and headed to Dior Homme. This morning, it was announced that acclaimed designer and founder of the ever-growing brand Off-White, Virgil Abloh, has officially been appointed as the Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton Menswear.

In an exciting statement, CEO and Chairman of Louis Vuitton Michael Burke said, "Having followed with great interest Virgil's ascent since he worked with me at Fendi in 2006, I am thrilled to see how his innate creativity and disruptive approach have made him so relevant, not just in the world of fashion but in popular culture today. His sensibility towards luxury and savoir-faire will be instrumental in taking Louis Vuitton menswear into the future."

Abloh will present his first menswear collection for the brand this June during Men's Fashion Week in Paris.
