Louis Vuitton closed the 2025 Formula 1 season with a moment of spectacle that. During the final Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, the Maison presented a complete lineup of the 24 Trophy Trunks created for this year’s races, each one placed directly on the starting grid. Arranged in a V formation, the display referenced both the spirit of victory and the identity of Vuitton.
Each trunk represented a chapter in the racing calendar. From the season opener in Australia to the finale in Abu Dhabi, the sequence traced the pace of a year shaped by speed, precision, competition, and sportsmanship. The trunk created for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix stood at the front of the installation, marking the culmination of the season and symbolizing the final ascent of the world’s top drivers.

Throughout the weekend the trunk appeared at key moments including the national anthem, the starting grid presentation and the podium ceremony. The race ended with Max Verstappen taking the Abu Dhabi win, receiving the Grand Prix trophy housed inside its dedicated Louis Vuitton trunk. Meanwhile, Lando Norris was crowned World Driver’s Champion for 2025, adding another layer of emotion to the final chapter of the season.
This grid installation highlighted Louis Vuitton’s growing presence within Formula 1 since their official partnership began earlier in the year. To mark the occasion, the brand also revealed new signage at the circuit, a design that conveyed the spirit of racing culture. The gesture aligned with Vuitton’s longstanding tradition of creating trunks for some of the world’s most significant sporting trophies, including the FIFA World Cup and the Ballon d’Or, among others.
