Louis Vuitton Presents “Walk in the Park,” A Series of Men’s Fashion Events

Leading up to the Men’s Fall/Winter ’21 fashion show, the fashion house is hosting interactive events curated by Virgil Abloh throughout January in Paris.

Explore the concepts and icons of Louis Vuitton created by Virgil Abloh, stepping into the physical and digital realm of French high fashion and luxury with Louis Vuitton: Walk in the Park.

A series of men’s fashion events in Paris throughout January, the new public experience conceived by Artistic Director Virgil Abloh draws you into the world of Louis Vuitton, from the building blocks of inclusive values and traditional roots to the connectivity and wondrous avenues the brand has taken under Aboh’s direction.

In a temporary residency erected by the brand’s headquarters on Rue de Pont Neuf, visitors can discover the sneakers and accessories of the iconic Men’s Spring/Summer 2019 to 2021 collections, released in time with the latter. The limited-edition takes will be for sale at the temporary residency, alongside reissues of classic favorites, from sneakers to jewelry and sunglasses.

Specially curated and collected, the designs at Rue de Pont Neuf are embedded in the very veins of Louis Vuitton, encapsulating the global community and dynamic network forged by Abloh since his arrival to the brand and ongoing dialogue with the audience he continues to foster in his role. House icons are seen from their conception to finish, displaying the creative evolution of the label.

The temporary residency also features a “Hall of Fame,” centered around five of the rarest editions of the trademark LV Trainer which debuted in the Spring/Summer ‘19 collection, alongside a finely crafted retrospective of the LV Trainer throughout its history. From January 8th-15th, the LV Trainer Upcycling from the Spring/Summer ‘21 collection will be available for purchase in five new color palettes lifted from reused LV Trainer material, a Walk in the Park exclusive tallying to 95 total pairs.

Every collector’s dream, the temporary space will also feature exclusive LV Ollie sneakers in six colorways, alongside jewelry and sunglasses from the latest collection, including the Cuban chains and 1.1 Millionaires sunglasses following a rainbow motif.

A traipse through the city may take you to Louis Vuitton Maison Vendôme, where reality meshes with limitless dreams in an augmented reality experience. Developed for the Louis Vuitton app, the AR allows viewers to interact with the new animated mascots Abloh conceived for the Spring/Summer ‘21 show.

From January 15th and on, Louis Vuitton will embark on an exploration of the juxtaposition between digital and physical integral to our modern life, using the Vendôme experience as a platform by which visitors can interact with the visual language Abloh is known for.

Visualized by Abloh as key symbols of the diversity and buoyancy embodied in his first-ever Louis Vuitton show in June 2018, the Zoooom with friends characters originally presented in Shanghai and Tokyo for the Spring/Summer ‘21 collections make their return through a filter on the app, taking over and animating the building into a colorful palace of joy and lightheartedness.

The month-long itinerary of extraordinary events concludes with the Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall/Winter 2021 show.
