LOUIS VUITTON x (RED) SNEAKER COLLAB SUPPORTING FIGHT AGAINST AIDS

Fashion powerhouse Louis Vuitton has just launched its newest sneaker collaboration with the anti-AIDS organisation (RED) called the Louis Vuitton I (RED) Trainer in support of the fight against AIDS.

Fashion powerhouse Louis Vuitton has just launched its newest collaboration with the anti-AIDS organisation (RED). The new sneakers, called the Louis Vuitton I (RED) Trainer, feature red embellishments and accents on a white leather base embossed with the LV pattern. As in the case of the Louis Vuitton Trainers presented in the Spring/Summer 2019 show, this newest drop also has a hint of retro-chic about it. The shoes also include a leather tag bearing the same monogrammed floral logo in the same shade of red. According to the company, for every pair of sneakers sold, they will donate $200 to the Global Fund to help fight against AIDS.

This is (RED)’s second collaboration with Louis Vuitton; the two previously collaborated on a $190 perfumed candle. The aim of the organisation, which was founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver, is to help eradicate aids by working with major brands and contributing the profits to the Global Fund. (RED) supported contributions have positively impacted more than 180 million people and generated $650 million for the Global Fund.

The Louis Vuitton I (RED) Trainer will be available to shop in a selected number of Louis Vuitton Stores from December 1st.
