Maison Margiela x Reebok Launch Classic Leather Tabi Sneakers

In their latest collaboration, Maison Margiela and Reebok present a black and white twist on two of their classic looks.

In the latest installment of their iconic ongoing collaboration, Maison Margiela and Reebok have released the Classic Leather Tabi in black and white, an elevated sneaker unifying the two brands’ most recognizable designs.

 

The collaboration, which debuted in early 2020, gives a sporty, streetwear element to the French fashion house’s signature Tabi shoe. Margiela and Reebok have produced a new take on the Tabi shoe before with the Tabi bianchetto sneakers, as well as the Tabi Instapump Fury

Now, innovation connects with tradition, functionality with fashion and contemporary with timelessness in the distinctive sneaker, constructed with the core of Reebok and the essence of Margiela under creative director John Galliano.

 

The new sneaker seamlessly integrates the best iof the Classic Leather Tabi and the Classic Leather Reebok. Margiela’s split-toe design, which was created in 1988, makes an appearance, giving the shoe a distinctive footprint and silhouette. Reebok’s staple sneaker, on the other hand, debuted in 1983 and carries its tech and functionality into the collaboration, using rebuilt leather to accommodate the split-toe Tabi.
