Following Colombian singer/songwriter Maluma’s chart-topping “ADMV” (Amor De Mi Vida) is “Hawái”, which dropped on Wednesday alongside a drama-filled music video. In his latest track’s video, Maluma gets his heartbroken while singing lyrics that dwell on a toxic relationship in the era of social media.

Directed by Jessy Terrero of Cinema Giants with a storyline created by Maluma himself, “Hawái” was filmed in Miami, while the track was produced by Rude Boyz and written by Maluma, Keityn, Edgar Barrera, and Bulle Nene. The video sees plot twists throughout, like Maluma crashing his ex’s wedding to another man and the 180 degree turn saved for the video’s end.
