Designer Marcelo Burlon has a reputation of producing collections and runway spaces that transport consumers and spectators to a more complex, immersive space. For Spring 2019, Burlon is sending us into outer space with his otherworldly active and technical ready-to-wear collection.

A neon forward palate sets the tone for the collection front to back, contributing to the ever present '80s renaissance we are living through. Manipulating and utilizing the idea of space ready clothing, Burlon chooses function over hyper-constructive flair creating jackets, jumpers, and active trousers that movie easily down the futuristic forward runway. Some graphic wording makes an appearance in the collection with "Confidencial" reading across sweatshirts and pullovers alike.

In closing, the final five looks fully realize the location as to where Burlon was aiming to ship the audience, splashed with a beaming highway print complete with stars and the phrase "Close Encounters." Check out some of Marcelo Burlon's imaginative collection below!
