Milan-based streetwear designer and purveyor of cool Marcelo Burlon teamed up with Reebok for a clean, dramatic update on the major sneaker brand's Zoku Runner shoe.
The new, white sneaker drops Thursday, Oct. 5, and the shoe in black is expected to hit retailers later this month on Thursday, Oct. 19. The Zoku Runner was first released this past spring in partnership with major rapper Future, and to give the design an even sleeker appeal, Reebok tapped Burlon for the recent update.
The collaboration sees the Zoku Runner, which is the first knitted shoe from Reebok, even more stylish in its stark monochromatic tones chosen by Burlon highlighting the thin shape and breathable knit material. The shoes also feature subtle branded logos with Burlon's signature County of Milan cross on the back of the left shoe and the Reebok Classics' symbol on the right.
