Marvel Offers a Limited Time “Free Comics” Category

Read some of Marvel’s most iconic comic books for free on Marvel Unlimited.

As a new form of entertainment for fans during self-quarantine, Marvel will be offering a month of free access to several iconic comic books through its Marvel Unlimited subscription service. These comic books include Avengers vs. X-Men, Captain America: Winter Soldier Ultimate, Civil War, Avengers: Kree/Skrull War, X-Men Milestones: Dark Phoenix Saga, and more.

“Fan who are social distancing will be able to escape into the Marvel Universe and revisit their favorite stories from a curated selection of complete story arcs — completely free — on Marvel Unlimited, starting Thursday, April 2 until Monday, May 4,” the company wrote

To start reading these comic books and additional story arcs, download the Marvel Unlimited app and click the “Free Comics” section. If you want to eventually purchase a physical copy, Marvel also provides each issue a description of shops currently selling that particular comic book. This free subscription only lasts from April 2-May 4.
