Men’s Fashion Week is Coming: Here’s What You Need to Know

2023 marks another year of Men’s Fashion Week in Paris and Milan. As designers prepare to showcase their Fall/Winter collections here’s what to expect.

Men’s fashion week is right around the corner. Between Milan and Paris, both familiar and emerging designers are entering this fashion week with a bang. Some names to note include Gucci, Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, and Dior as well as JW Anderson and Prada alongside a few more names.

Milan is up first with designers showcasing their Fall/Winter 2023 collections from January 13th to January 17th. There are many firsts coming up this week from Gucci’s big return, showing its first stand-alone menswear show since before the pandemic to Marco de Vincenzo presenting his first menswear collection for Etro. Between Prada, Fendi, Emporio Armani, Zegna, and Dsquared2, these Italian-based brands are going all out. International designers will also be showcasing their work including London-based designers JW Anderson and Charles Jeffrey Loverboy who will be making their Milan fashion week debut.

Whilst Milan has a hectic week ahead, they are not the only ones preparing for a fashion frenzy as Paris Fashion Week including menswear and couture will be showing directly after starting from January 17th.

Paris fashion week will be buzzing with excitement with the return of designers and the emergence of new ones. Iconic designers such as Givenchy, Dior Men, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Rick Owens will be presenting their highly anticipated collections alongside Saint Laurent who is back in Paris with a stand-alone menswear show for the first time in years since showing in New York, Marrakech and Venice previously.

Brands such as Amiri, Nahmias, and Bode are some of the American names also showing at Paris Fashion Week. The week will come to an end with Maison Margiela by John Galliano who will close this menswear fashion week on January 22nd.
