Michael Kors Wants You to Vote

Michael Kors’ ‘Your Voice Matters’ campaign encourages Americans to vote.

Michael Kors launches Your Voice Matters to encourage American’s participation in the 2020 presidential election.

Two clothing items, exclusively available in the United States, arrive with the launch of the campaign. Proceeds from the Kors branded T-shirt and sweater will directly aid the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

“Our greatest right and privilege as Americans is the right to have our voices heard,” Michael Kors said. “These T-shirts and sweaters are a reminder for all Americans to vote and not let their voices be extinguished.”

Kors partnered with FKSP, headed by African American designer Folake Kuye Huntoon in Los Angeles, to produce the items. The slogan “Your Voice Matters” is featured on the front of the T-shirt while “Vote” is printed on the back. Each word is highlighted on the black tee in a different color: red, white and blue. The cashmere intarsia sweater solely reads “Vote” on the front.

The Your Voice Matters campaign is more than a sell of clothing items. Kors said that one-hundred percent of profits from the collection will go towards the Legal Defense and Educational Fund and help end racial injustice. Special banners will help celebrate the campaign and be on display in Kors’ Rockefeller Center flagship store during the first week of September.

Each item is available for purchase this September on Michael Kors’ online store as well as locations across the country. The T-shirt retails for $40 USD while the sweater is available for $850 USD.
