Miguel dropped a music video for his electronic-soul single Funeral this past weekend. The video’s arrival comes almost one year after the song’s initial release.

“Blood on the carpet it came from my heart / Once I start I can’t stop it,” Miguel sings.

The song’s dark tracks are surrounded by black and white images in the official music video. Miguel is seen rising from a coffin, crucified on a mattress, running under strobe lights and laying atop seemingly lifeless bodies. 

In addition to the music video, Miguel announced incoming additions to his Art Dealer Chic EP series. The project comes after somewhat of a hiatus Miguel took from producing music. In a statement, Miguel said the project will focus on “self-curation” and “honest expression.”
