Netflix Unveils Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser
Still not over Hopper’s death rn.
More ominous than ever, Netflix has released the highly-anticipated teaser trailer for season four of Stranger Things. Although both Netflix and the show released hints of the upcoming season throughout the summer, this is the first glimpse fans have received of who and what will be involved. The teaser also alludes at a new location: the Creel House.
Back in November, the Stranger Things’ (@Stranger_Things) Twitter announced a few new cast members, one being Victor Creel. The character is described as “a disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s’’. Creel will be played by Robert Englund, who is best known for playing Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare On Elm Street film series.

The opening of the minute and a half teaser includes Ella Fitzgerald’s Dream a Little Dream of Me playing in the background, as Creel and his family are seen moving into a two-story home. Everything seems peaceful at first until gruesome shots of dead animals and flickering lights appear. It isn’t until the very end of the trailer that we see some returning characters from season three breaking into the home. But most importantly to remember from the trailer is the sinister grandfather clock, which fans have suspected time to be a major component of next season.
Season four of Stranger Things is expected to release in 2022. Watch the trailer below.
