Newbies/Oldies Coming to Netflix

Here are some of the best titles headed to Netflix this September.

NEWBIES

These titles are hot off the press. From Sarah Paulson and Toni Collette thrillers to Reese Witherspoon and Neil Patrick Harris realities, here’s a look at some new movies and shows coming to Netflix this September.

Ratched

From the creators of American Horror Story comes this Sarah Paulson leading drama. Based on Nurse Ratched — a character made famous by One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest — this new series follows the dark journey of a young nurse working at a mental institution.

I’m Thinking of Ending Things

Take your typical meet the parents trope, flip it on its head (shake it a few times) and you get Charlie Kaufman’s I’m Thinking of Ending Things. This Toni Collette starring thriller follows a young woman as she meets her boyfriend’s mystically-unorthodox parents.

The Devil All the Time

Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson star alongside each other in this Antonio Campos crime-filled drama. The film follows a young man as he navigates a post-WWII town filled with sinister and corrupt characters.

Get Organized With the Home Edit

Need some helping getting organized? The Home Edit has been helping celebrities and ordinary people take hold of their lives for years — and they now have a reality show. Follow master organizers Joanna Teplin and Clea Shearer as they enter into the homes of Reese Witherspoon, Neil Patrick Harris and more.

OLDIES

From The Office to Friends, Netflix has long been a haven of nostalgia. This month, Netflix adds some classic flicks and shows you’re bound to know (and binge).

Girlfriends

Before Tracee Ellis Ross fueled us with her talents on Black-ish, she was leading this iconic sitcom. Girlfriends follows a powerful ensemble of Black women who navigate different stages of life. From dating to divorce to family drama, Girlfriends is bound to touch your heart and… make you laugh.

Back to the Future

“Wait a minute doc…ah…are you telling me you built a TIME MACHINE… out of a delorean,” Marty McFly once famously said. Yep, Netflix is gracing Back to the Future fans with the whole trilogy playing on Netflix this September.

Magic Mike

Released just under ten years ago, Magic Mike quickly became a Channing Tatum classic. The film follows Mike, a plumber and contractor by day and a headlining male-dancer by night.
