Nicholas Daley and Nepenthes New York have come together for a limited capsule built around a reworked version of the iconic Workaday Jacket. Finished with hand-crocheted accents at the collar, pockets, and elbows in Daley’s signature colors, the piece also features custom embroidery, combining archived patches with a specially designed Nepenthes NY logo.

Likewise, Daley’s signature crocheted bucket hat returns in an exclusive new color, made from a cotton-acrylic blend. Graphic T-shirts, bandanas, and pins complement the garments, merging Daley’s visual language with direct references to American reggae and New York street iconography.

Expanding beyond clothing, the capsule also includes a new incense blend called Sahara, produced with New Way of Life and packaged in boxes designed by Daley. Rooted in the rhythms of roots music and sound system culture, the scent introduces a sensory dimension to the project’s narrative. Accessories like hand-knitted plant pot covers and collectible stickers featuring a reworked Nepenthes logo offer tactile additions that underline the collection’s intention and charm.

To accompany the launch, Daley reunited with longtime visual collaborator Piczo, whose campaign imagery adds another layer to the collection’s storytelling. The capsule also includes a range of exclusive merchandise developed with Kozaburo, Daley’s close friend and fellow designer. “It’s been a real honour to collaborate with Daiki Suzuki and the Engineered Garments team—brands and people I deeply respect—as well as my longtime friend Kozaburo,” says Daley. “This project celebrates our shared creative worlds and the friendships that have grown over the years.”

Available now exclusively through the Nepenthes New York store and online at NicholasDaley.net.
