We got a taste of Craig Green, first spotlighted in VMAN 32, and photographer Nick Knight’s F/W ’15 ad campaign collaboration last month when the designer unveiled a teaser installation at Dover Street Market New York. The arrangement hinted at sculptural elements that levitated off the ground like kites taking flight, in his words “light, airy, and about movement,” and the final shots, released today, portray just that. The swirling stills of red and black bring Green’s layered looks to life and the intense rouge evokes the same passionate feelings that had some crying at his silent S/S ’15 showing at London Collections: Men. While the photos move freely enough, there is an accompanying short that shows the mechanics of the images' creation, which you can watch here on the SHOWstudio website.

This is not the first time Nick Knight has taken special interest in new talent. Today, his film work with Machine-A and JOYCE Hong Kong debuts with an 8-person roster of freshly graduated creators. On working with Knight, Craig told V, “I have him to thank for pushing me forward. Actually, I was so busy that I wasn’t thinking about the shoot much beforehand. But when I was on set, I had a realization about how amazing it was of Nick to support me. Getting to work with him is so incredible, and it’s such an important moment in my short career.”
