Milan, Italy — On July 15,  Off-White™ and AlphaTheta Corporation announced the release of the limited-edition DDJ-1000-OW from Pioneer DJ brand.

Pioneer DJ is a world-class manufacturer of DJ equipment located in Japan. Their brand’s vision has always been “to enhance the creative potential of music and enable a world filled with joy”.

The DDJ-1000-OW, an exclusive DJ controller, is available globally in limited quantities as of mid-July 2021.

In conjunction with this release, Off-White™ will launch a “SOUND ENGINEERING” limited edition capsule of clothing and accessories, also in collaboration with Pioneer DJ. The collaboration takes inspiration from technical files that describe the internal structure of the DJ controller.

The clothing line will feature tees, hoodies, and a coach jacket as well as two fanny packs and caps with the “SOUND ENGINEERING” logo. All limited edition items in the collection have silk-screen printing graphics and fluorescent green ink.

“As with the skeleton CDJ and DJM I designed with Pioneer DJ, I wanted to take this opportunity to bring together technology and human interaction,” Virgil Abloh said. “This time we took it one step further with “SOUND ENGINEERING” bringing together this medium, that unites so many of us, with a fashion element. Both music and fashion, in my opinion, are these intense forces that have the unique power to bring people together while letting you make your own statement all at the same time.”

Prices for items range from $260 to $1,220 USD. The Pioneer DJ and Off-White™ limited edition collaboration will be available at Off—White.com, Farfetch.com, and select Off-White™ stores worldwide.
