OMEGA’s Latest Seamaster Embraces Tantalum

This Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph blends gold, titanium and tantalum.

OMEGA introduces their latest Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph layered in tantalum, gold, titanium and ready for adventures at sea.

Introduced to the Seamaster family close to thirty years ago, tantalum once again arrives as an integral part of the Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph. Its blue and grey tones deliver a watch face that incorporates wave-like lines and other oceanic feels.

Along with tantalum, the 44mm chronometer is made of 2 titanium and 18K Sedna gold which can also be found on the bezel and links. The watch’s bezel hosts a laser-ablated diving scale and polished blue ceramic [ZrO2] dial. OMEGA places the date window at the 6 o’clock icon.

An iconic laser etched OMEGA seahorse can be found on the glass-back of the Seamaster. Through the glass, wearers will find the heartbeat of the watch: OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900.

OMEGA has long had a relationship with the world’s oceans. Sailor and ocean conservationist Sir. Peter Blake was a friend of OMEGA who sailed the world on the famous 119-foot aluminum Seamaster.

Following in these traditions, the latest Seamaster is water-resistant up to 1,000 feet. Inside a special water-resistant presentation chamber, the watch also comes equipped with an extendable foldover rack-and-pusher with extra diver extension.

The Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph is available to view on OMEGA’s website. Local OMEGA boutiques will have the watch in stock this upcoming November.
