ONE Musicfest & Live Nation Host Virtual Festival & Voting Rally

Catch the Wu-Tang Clan, DMX, Anderson .Paak, Busta Rhymes, and more at this Sunday’s digital music festival and voting rally.

On Sunday ONE Musicfest and Live Nation Urban are hosting a virtual music festival with a goal: to get more people to the polls. Also crowned as a “pre-party to the polls,” the three hour digital event celebrates the Southeastern-based ONE Musicfest’s culture and history while emphasizing our civic responsibility to get out and vote.

Partnering with REVOLT TV, Michelle Obama’s nonpartisan and nonprofit When We All Vote, Stacey Abram’s Fair Fight initiative, and a new Black college fundraising app called HBCU Change, the festival will see some of R&B and hip-hop’s most acclaimed names. Looking back at a handful of the festival’s best performances will include the Wu-Tang Clan, T.I., The Roots, Ari Lennox, Jill Scott, H.E.R., DMX, KP the Great featuring Pharrell, and Usher, with newcomers like Chika, TeaMarrr, and YelloPain also in the mix. Phylicia Rashad (Howard University graduate) and Keshia Knight Pulliam (Spelman College) are making an appearance too as they discuss the importance of supporting HBCUs and their impact on Black Culture.
