Outer Banks Season 2 Drops Official Trailer

The Pogues V.S. The Kooks, who will win this time?

Yes, it’s coming! After a year of waiting, Outer Banks season 2 is back on Netflix this summer. On July 14, Netflix announced, “The treasure belongs to the Pogues. Buckle up – Outer Banks Season 2 premieres July 30,” on Twitter, along with an official trailer.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads, “New friends also bring new foes as they’re back on the trail of the gold, while the stakes for Kiara, Pope, and JJ rapidly escalate at home. The $400 million is still in the game, but will the uncovering of a newfound secret reunite the group for a fresh mission? The adventure of a lifetime awaits, but uncharted waters ahead mean our Pogues must do all they can to make it out alive.”

It is bomb news to OBX fans. In the trailer, as John B and Sarah are on the run in the Bahamas as he’s wrongly accused of murder, we know that the story of this season is not just set in North Carolina – it goes globally. What’s more exciting is that there might be ANOTHER TREASURE for Kiara, Pope and JJ to find.

In April, just a few months ago, as the cast and crew celebrated one year anniversary of OBX, the show announced new cast members for Season 2. With new members, all of the core cast, including Chase Stokes (John B), Madelyn Cline (Sarah Cameron), Madison Bailey (Kiara) and Jonathan Daviss (Pope), will be returning for the new season. Landed on Netflix during quarantine, OBX saved people when the city was in lockdown.

OBX2 is gonna be the show of the summer for sure. Upon release, let’s hop to V’s exclusive features with Chase, Madelyn, Madison and Jonathan to take a look at the crew behind the scenes.
