Ozzy Osbourne Drops Ф Single From His Upcoming Album

The ten-year break is over.

After almost 10 years without a single solo music release, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame indictee Ozzy Osbourne has released a new song dubbed “Under The Graveyard.” The ballad is the first single from Ozzy’s forthcoming album Ordinary Man that is scheduled to release on Epic Records in early 2020.

The album will feature Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses on bass, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers on drums and producer Andrew Watt on guitars. By the words of Ozzy, “this album was a gift from [his] higher power.” The idea first came about when Osbourne’s daughter Kelly asked him to do a Post Malone song, and when that was done, Ozzy and his friend and producer Andrew Watt started toying with the idea of starting a new album.

“Duff [McKagan] and Chad [Smith] came in and we would go in and jam during the day and I would go work out the songs in the evenings,” Ozzy recalls. “I previously had said to Sharon I should be doing an album, but in the back of my mind, I was going ‘I haven’t got the fucking strength…’ but Andrew [Watt] pulled it out of me. I really hope people listen to it and enjoy it because I put my heart and soul into this album.”

More details on Ordinary Man are to come soon. Meanwhile, listen to “Under The Graveyard” on Spotify and Apple Music.
