Pa Salieu Faces A-COLD-WALL* in their Pre-Fall Campaign

Creatives and innovators Pa Salieu and Samuel Ross teamed up for the latest ACW* campaign.

London-based brand A-COLD-WALL* tapped British rapper Pa Salieu for their pre-fall 2022 campaign.

The minimalistic streetwear and lifestyle brand brought the season’s experimental spirit to life in the campaign with the help of futuristic photographer Ken-Tonio Yamamoto and longstanding ACW* stylist Robbie Spencer. Yamamoto and Spencer worked together to emphasize the tonality, texture, and technicality of the pre-fall collection through experimentations with light, shadow, and distortion.

Salieu, an innovative voice in British music, is known for subverting genres and honoring both his Gambian heritage and West Midlands upbringing in though unique and distinctive style of rap. Bringing that same energy to the ACW* campaign, Salieu embraced the brand’s atypical approach to clothing and category, leading the narrative of the campaign and communicating with Yamamoto though the art.

The end result of the campaign is a series of multi-dimensional photos, showcasing both Salieu and Samuel Ross, the founder of ACW*’s, ability to imagine beyond the present landscape and into a future with more possibilities. As the brand says, the campaign is “PF22 brought to life.”
