Palm Tree Crew x Siegelman Stable Drop An Exclusive Capsule in Oslo

The limited-edition capsule collection coincides with DJ and Palm Tree Crew co-founder Kygo’s biggest concert yet

DJ and producer Kygo is one of the most successful artists to come out of Norway’s music scene. The creative has earned acclaim for his viral remixes, original singles, and collaborations with acts like Imagine Dragons, Selena Gomez, and Ellie Goulding. It follows that his return to his home country for the biggest concert of his career would be cause for celebration. To commemorate the event, Kygo decided to team up with cult-favorite streetwear label Siegelman Stable through Palm Tree Crew, the lifestyle brand he co-founded with manager Myles Shear in 2016. Fusing the sunny, carefree vibes of Palm Tree Crew with Siegelman Stable’s casual-cool aesthetic, the capsule collection is poised to be one of the summer’s hottest collabs.

After a string of collaborations centered on horse racing, including a collection with the Hambletonian Society and the brand’s recent Yonkers Raceway capsule, Siegelman Stable’s partnership with Kygo might seem like a non sequitur. It turns out that the brand and the artist have something in common: Norwegian heritage. Siegelman Stable founder Max Siegelman normally takes inspiration from the legacy of his father Robbie Siegelman’s eponymous racing stable, but turned to the roots of a different family member for the new capsule: his grandmother.

“This drop is extra special because of my grandmother’s heritage in Norway. She played a big role in my life and I always want to do collaborations that tell another chapter of the Siegelman Stable brand story. I think the graphics and attention to detail used in these pieces do just that,” Siegelman shared in a statement.

The six-piece capsule brings back one of the most-wanted items in Siegelman Stable’s catalog: the iconic embroidered Siegelman Stable hat, this time adorned with a Palm Tree Crew logo. Joining three iterations of the coveted accessory are a crewneck sweatshirt, a printed tee, and an embroidered bomber jacket. The garments bear bright graphics of horses and palm trees, the perfect motif for the collab. This artwork, created by graphic designer Ludvig Løken, is set against a sunny scene featuring the quaint wooden buildings characteristic of Bergen, Norway. On the front, the names of the two brands are sprawled in a rustic font. The summery streetwear captures the vacay-every-day ethos of Palm Tree Crew while offering an update on some of Siegelman Stable’s classic pieces.
